Sheesh. I don’t even know where to start! I guess I’ll start with breakfast- I tried egg salad this time, and just couldn’t handle it. I’m afraid we just aren’t cut out for the Holiday Inn breakfast sandwiches!

We had planned to go to the mainland today, and yesterday as I was on the hunt for some hair product I spotted a coffee place close. We did a slight detour to try it, and we weren’t disappointed!

After a satisfying breakfast experience- mostly getting coffee in our systems- we felt ready to tackle the day. We were using the subway for the first time, and though we’ve navigated (or, I should say, SHANE has navigated) other cities’ public transportation systems before, so we were fairly confident we could at least figure it out. It was a bit more intricate than others, but we caught on pretty quick!

We took a couple trains to get to mainland. We stayed in the Tsim Sha Tsui district as it had the Museum of History and lots of shopping. The museum was fascinating, and we only were able to spend 4 hours there and it wasn’t enough!

The museum closed every 2 hours for cleaning, so we grabbed a snack lunch, continues our tour after and then decided to hit up some markets in hopes that I could find a few of the things on my list. I didn’t find any, but we could’ve walked right by it and not noticed because there’s just so much to look at!

We ended the day watching the Laser Light Show, it happens every night at 8, with fireworks on special holidays. The view of the skyline was incredible- it’s so large we couldn’t even tell where it ended!

We are so enjoying our time in country, but tomorrow begins the reason we’re here. We are excited to meet C for the very first time! Now to get rest, because walking nearly 10 miles in a day takes it out of you!
Amazing!! Get a good nights rest and save all your energy for that sweet 5yr old you will meet for the first time tomorrow morning ❤️❤️❤️ I’m praying for her and that the beginning will bring glory to God and peace and harmony in Him to our family.

I have to admit I’ve never had a desire to visit Hong Kong before, but I do now! You should write for a travel magazine! I’m so happy for your family. I can’t imagine the thoughts and emotions you must be having right now as you are about to finally meet Celine and see all your efforts realized! So thankful for the organizations that have helped you in this process and for our almighty God, his providence, and your trust and faithfulness that have gotten you where you are! All my love and prayers!!! I can’t wait to meet the final third of the Haff’s triplets!❤
